Gema’s sound is as strongly influenced by her Cuban roots as it is by Jazz, Brazilian song, opera, and flamenco. Following the groundbreaking success of the duo Gema y Pavel, Gema Corredera entered the stage as a solo artist with her startling productions "Derramando Luz", which was nominated for a Cubadisco Award in 2013 and "Feeling Marta" winner of a Cubadisco 2016 award. This magnificent creation was touted by La Razón - Mexico, as one of the best 25 Cuban records of 2015, while Cubaencuentro Magazine, from Spain, herald it as one of the best 10 Cuban records of 2015 and 2016 consecutively. Gema has taken her voice and music to stages and festivals in more than 20 countries. During the pandemic, Gema Corredera showcased her art at various online festivals held in Mexico, Spain, Colombia, and the United States. Since 2022, Corredera has

participated in the "Festival de Boleros Contigo Aprendí" in Colombia, the Cassandra Theater Festival in Miami, and the Buena Vista Gardens Festival in San Francisco. She has also brought her music to stages in Spain, New York, San Francisco, Miami, and Puerto Rico.

In 2023, Gema premiered her new show, "Lo que no te conté," in Miami. This is a concert concept that involves audience participation. After two successful performances, the singer is gearing up to take the show on tour, all while preparing to produce her new album set to release in 2024.
